Greetings, and welcome to the home of BSides Perth, based in sunny Western Australia!
Perth is one of the most isolated major cities in the world, in fact only Honolulu is more isolated. If you want to know what that level of isolation means…try living here and ordering something off Amazon! 🙂
Anyway…being this isolated means it can be pretty challenging to travel to security conferences elsewhere in Australia, or indeed globally, so we wanted to put together a conference where the local community can showcase the best we have on offer, and provide a platform for national and international speakers to present to a passionate group of people.
